Every natural circumstance is superficial bondage. All things outside of our spirit that seem to hold us down are figments compared to the truth of the Word of God. Jesus has made us free, He has paid the price for our sins, He has snatched us from captivity and translated us into liberty. So why live in fear? Do not let what you see define the God that you serve.
Jesus has made us free and we ought to live freely. There will be difficult times in our life but these hard times are not our life; they don’t define our lives. We have been given everlasting life through Jesus Christ. Therefore, we should identify as possessors of eternal life. So if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)
Betrothed of the Lord, you are free. Walk in your freedom. Continue in the ways of a believer despite what you see and what you feel. When Paul and Silas were imprisoned, they were heard praying and praised God because their bodies were in jail but their spirit were free. (Acts 16) …wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17)
Nothing in this world can stop what God has placed inside of you. Inside of you resides the Spirit of the Living God and cannot be stopped! Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27) He cannot be stopped and neither can you.
Not even death can stop us, because we are already positioned in Heavenly places with Christ. He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! (Ephesians 2:6) Remember who you are, you are free.
